COVID-19 has had a huge impact in all our lives, leading to the temporary closure of the university buildings and labs, a shift to online classes, and working from home. In consultation with student groups, we have developed a survey to learn about the impact of COVID-19 on the lives of Canadian graduate students including their graduate studies, and career pathways.
On April 22nd, the Toronto Science Policy Network (TSPN) launched a survey to understand the impact of COVID-19 on graduate students across Canada. The survey includes questions relating to working from home, health and wellness, teaching and course requirements, research, funding, and your experiences as a graduate student during COVID-19.
The data collected from this survey will be kept completely anonymous. The purpose of the survey is to ensure that there is evidence available for student groups/unions and institutions to launch any efforts to support graduate students. Only aggregate and anonymous data may be shared and used by representatives of student associations and university administrations across Canada, including data subsets where appropriate.
